// A love for baking... and a sprinkle of anxiety <3
Anxious Baker is a labor of love. For many, baking is a means of expression for when life gets a little intense, a bit too noisy, or far too hectic. The process is peaceful and simultaneously productive, operating as an assembly line of my love through tasty treats.
I've been baking since I was a little kid. However, I only became infatuated with the practice over the past few years. Since then, I've tried both sweet and savory recipes, tested out the best way to soften butter without using patience or the art of remembering to set it out a few hours ahead of time, and attempted a variety of fun techniques.
Outside of baking, I enjoy cooking, creating fun snacks and whatnot, as well as reading, writing, painting, photography, at home yoga, scrapbooking, thrifting, antiquing and planning out my future in excruciating, unnecessary detail.
This is a home for me to share recipes I've used, created, and done my best to perfect, as well as small lessons and tidbits when I feel I have something to offer. It's also a small store at the request of past recipients of my treats! Nothing big, just a fun little enterprise to support my college ambitions. As a student working hard at a great college in New York State, I need the outlet, lol.
Welcome!
